I, like everybody else, question my weight sometimes, and I'm working on not being too hard on myself. For the women out there questioning their looks, remember that there is no "normal." Be the weight you feel most comfortable in. I am just a tad under 5' 2" and built with curves. I would probably say I have an "hourglass" figure. I tend to store fat on my lower face and arms/upper body. At my comfortable weight of 115, I feel heavy and think I look chunky in photos.
Keep in mind, at 115, I still eat relatively healthy, I just don't exercise much and maybe eat larger portions than I should. When I cut my food portions (I still eat, just not as much) and exercise to 100, I feel and look great--but have to be conscious of food portions to keep it up. I have attached a photo of me at a weight of 105. Diets don't exist; eating healthy in limited portions is a lifestyle. And remember that every woman has a different frame, so your weight may look different on somebody else with the same weight and height. We should learn not to be so hard on ourselves, Ladies! Xoxo
P.S. I have had a hypoactive thyroid since I was 16 years of age, making it a little harder for me to maintain a small size.
The My Body Gallery project needs real Women! We need your help to develop the project and build a collection of photos that will help more women see themselves more clearly. Upload a picture of your full body. Our photo submission process also allows you to block out part of the image to protect your identity, if you wish. Please note that you must be 18 to upload a photo.
